For the past several years I have been blessed to get to write, record, and perform many songs through the duo, Jason & Denise. During that time I have also written many other songs that don’t quite fit the mold of the duo. It has been a desire of mine since I was probably 5 years old to record a solo album someday but the timing has never been right… until now.
I am embarking on a new adventure of recording a solo album. But before I get too far along in the process of sharing that adventure with you I want to take a second to give a big THANK YOU to Jason Rose! I would not be the artist I am today without his mentorship. I am so grateful for his support, encouragement, and even the harder times of pushing me to be better than I thought I could be. When I started writing music again it was Jason and his wife Heather that saw a spark in me that they felt compelled to nurture (as in a cocoon) until this butterfly was ready to fly. Thank you, Jason & Heather for seeing who God made me to be before I saw it in myself and for teaching me to quit thinking so much and just do something already! Thank you for helping me find my wings. Praise God for great friends and new adventures!
